BIO - Bourbon Vanilla, ground, 5g
The sweet and smooth taste of bourbon vanilla greatly complements desserts, from pot pies to crème brûlée. However, a delicate hint of vanilla also pairs well with fish or delicate salads. The African beauty was named in the 19th century after the island of Reunion, which was then still known as Bourbon Island. Originally, the orchid, whose delightful fruit pods we enjoy, comes from Mexico, where Aztec rulers were said to have appreciated the sweet aroma in their cocoa as early as the 14th century.
